i installed the add on, and it works as advertised. i can make shapes and place them into my scenery. i can even edit them. unfortunately, you need to download a file, then install it (which will overwrite the existing file in my fsdb). this wasn’t bad, but i would much prefer to have a dll file i could load into my scenery instead of having to install a new file. so, i would have to give the program a miss. however, with that being said, it certainly does have its uses. i would have to say that any scenery artist looking to update his or her scenery should give this program a try.kev g.

the new flight sim tools now allows you to create and edit 3d objects inside of fsx. to create an object, select the create new object menu item. from there you can select from a list of generic objects, or create your own. you can also add and edit the properties of an existing object. if you want to create a jet, select the jet object. if you want to create a slanted cylinder, select the cylinder object. if you want to create a cone, select the cone object. go to the file menu, select save, and save the object to a file. select the object and go to the edit menu. go to the object properties menu. select the object properties menu item. select the geometry properties menu item. change the geometry type to cylinder. when you create a cylinder object, you can select the radius, height, and other properties. you can also change the cylinder size and position. to create a jet, select the jet object. in the load file dialog, select the file to load. a list of objects will appear. select the aircraft object. select the aircraft from the list. you can then create the cylinder object, and add or change the properties.
